Darjeeling First Flush Single Estate Tea Goomtee

"First Flush" means the first tea harvest after winter.
It is harvested from the end of February through the end of April.
Single Estate Teas, which we offer only in a 500g-package, only come from one particular tea garden.

This tea comes from Goomtee Tea Estate. 

This First Flush from Darjeeling does not carry an organic label because the Goomtee plantation from which the tea originates is not yet certified organic. The tea has undergone the same strict quality and residue controls (an independent laboratory now tests for 675 relevant substances) as all our organic teas - and has passed without reservation.
