The first samples of First Flush 2012 have reached us. They are rather promising even though weather conditions have not been as favourable. Rainfall was far below what was needed to ensure a lush growth of tea leaves. Accordingly the crop is expected to be 40% behind last year's yield. Do you have to worry about getting any Flush at all this year? Naturally the harvest of First Flush and Second Flush is limited, but we've placed our orders with our longterm producers in time. Especially in those times you can profit from our good connections to the region of Darjeeling - since this is the district we exclusively work with since over 25 years...
